Seldom do we notice nature around us, in the hustle-bustle of life. But sometimes nature just forces us to take our eyes off that cellphone and look at her. A jacaranda tree in the campus has been grabbing my attention everyday, with its almost leafless branches full of lovely lavender flowers. The flowers give such a refreshing view in the midst of all the concrete and glass. Here it is on a 14' X 18' canvas, just as soon as I finished painting. The heavy texture of the oil comes with using palette knives. Now everytime you see a jacaranda in full bloom, think of me!
Paintings in oil, water color and other mixed media. Now shipping anywhere in India! To buy, please write to me in the comments under the chosen painting.

My way to beat the heat
Its started to get so hot around, almost to the point of being roasted, if I leave the comforts of home. I thought of all ways to beat the heat. Hmmm.. imagining myself on the Antarctic snow lands. So then what better way to express that chill, other than a snowy white wolf! I'm sure the texture of his fur will make you want to cuddle him. Again, combination of acrylic and oil on canvas on a 10 X 12, ready to be framed.
